He also revealed that one of the kids was his wife’s child with another man, but he had raised the kid as his own because she claimed the baby was an orphan.

Quirico Catahum, 52, sought help against his wife Eleonor Catahum, 44, a household worker in Abu Dhabi. According to Quirico, his wife does not send them her full salary and would sometimes just send Php8,000; there were also months she did not send any remittance, leading him to seek loans to support the family.

He claimed that she had made him quit his job so he could take care of the children, but after they had a quarrel, the kids are now living with her former classmate and now lover Romy Rixamara.

Last January 7, Eleonor came home and had to undergo an operation, but she went to Romy instead of Quirico. To defend himself, Romy said that he had only taken care of Eleonor because Quirico does not know how to care for his wife; but Tulfo disagreed, saying he still shouldn’t have taken advantage of Eleonor at the lowest time in her life.

Eleonor admitted that when she came home to the Philippines for a vacation, she lived with Romy for 2 months – and her kids are living with him now.

But the other child Quirico said she passed off as an orphan was her son with another man, not Romy. At the time, she and Quirico had been separated for 4 years.

After all the parties agreed that Quirico and Eleonor should try to patch things up, Quirico was able to get the kids back. Though he still had to argue about the matter with Romy. In the end, Quirico was finally able to take the kids home.
