OFW Gets Help from Employers for Traveling and Building House

A lucky OFW gets help from her employers for traveling and building a house for her family. They’re even supportive when she wants to have fun with her friends – to the point that they’re the ones buying the drinks! Wow.

Lucky OFW has Kind Employers

It’s great to hear stories of lucky OFWs who receive help from kind employers to build a house for their families, send their kids to school, travel to many places around the world, open a business, and so many other good news. After all, we’ve also heard lots of sad stories about OFWs.

Recently, another OFW went viral for the beautiful things they received from their employer.

Russelle Copina works as a caregiver in Israel. She’s been working there for over 6 years – and was lucky enough to have been employed in a family who were kind enough to also treat her like she’s part of their family.

Her employers also encourage her to save money, telling her that working abroad is not a thing she can do forever.

What’s so wonderful about the family is that when they learn that she has projects back home, such as building a 2-story house for her mom, they let her borrow money instead of taking the costs from her savings.

They also let her borrow money to travel the world on her own or even with her mom.

OFWs in Israel

There are fewer OFWs in Israel compared to other places in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia or the UAE (United Arab Emirates). There are only around 30,000 to 50,000 OFWs in Israel, while there are as many as 470,000 OFWs in Saudi Arabia.
