The life of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) is filled with sacrifices, particularly if they have children because they have to be away from their kids for many years. Many even take care of other people’s kids, while their kids sometimes don’t have a caring person to take care of them back at home. That’s they their homecoming is always sweet – and moments like that often make you cry.

Recently, an OFW’s homecoming video went viral as she surprises her kids by pretending to be a server at Mang Inasal.

In the video, the OFW pretends to be a worker at Mang Inasal. Quite amazingly, the management helped her pull this off by even letting her wear an official Mang Inasal uniform! So, she was truly able to look the part of a real Mang Inasal server, but only hid her face in a mask.

It was a busy hour at Mang Inasal when this happened. Most of the tables were filled with diners. Of course, the OFW was only tasked to serve the table where her family is dining. It was soon obvious that the adults were in on the surprise, but the kids were not.

The OFW’s kids patiently waited at the table while the OFW served them. For the first few moments into the video, it was apparent that the kids had no idea who she is. But as the moments passed, one appears to notice that there’s something familiar about their server. He kept on looking at the woman, perhaps feeling that she might be his mom!

After their food was ready, the OFW removed her mask. But even before the kids could react, she could no longer stop herself from giving them a tearful hug. It was a sweet moment that also got a lot of netizens crying.
