Terrified OFW Seeks Help after Employer Asked Her to Massage Privates

Going abroad to find a job is not a joke, particularly to those who apply for jobs as domestic or household workers. Many of them deal with bad employers who don’t feed them well but make them work hard. A lot of also have other bad experiences, especially with male employers.

Recently, domestic helper Jeanne Pauline Andaya from Calamba, Laguna, sought help on social media as she was too scared and didn’t know what to do. Jeanne Pauline works in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She’s only been with her employers for 3 months but she wants to go home because of bad experiences at the house.

In a video where the domestic helper could be seen shaking in fear and crying, Jeanne Pauline detailed how she fears for her life because of what her male employer is doing. According to her, there were a number of times when the male employer would flash her and ask ‘help’ from her to massage the parts he is showing.

The poor OFW is too scared to tell her female employer because the madam is already showing signs that she is jealous of the domestic helper. With that in mind, it is understandable that Jeanne Pauline is scared to tell her madam because the latter might think badly about the situation and blame her instead.

Too scared and unsure what to do next, Jeanne Pauline asked help from social media through a live video that went viral. The video has since been reshared by many websites and blogs in the Philippines.

The OFW has posted several updates and live videos until action was taken by the agency. At first, the agency told her she would be moved to another employer. But she was told that she could face legal action from her employers because she didn’t have evidence of what her male employer had done.

Thankfully, her madam eventually allowed her to back to the Philippines — and she was finally rescued from her employer’s house!
