Kids Seek Support from OFW Dad after He Left Them for His OFW Mistress

With so many families of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) breaking up due to a third party, it remains a sad fact that it is the children who are the ones that are greatly affected by the break up.

Aside from growing up in a broken family, these children have to deal with problems regarding remittance issues because the OFW might no longer want to support the first family.

A driver who has been working in Saudi for 8 years, Jun Dulay chose to leave his wife Emily Dulay who is also working in the same place for woman who also happens to be an OFW, a certain Joy Divina.

What’s so heartbreaking is that Jun got married to this Joy in a Muslim wedding in Saudi, making their union legal there. Then, the two confronted Emily at her job and were even trying to cause her trouble; this led to a confrontation between the two women and the mistress slapping her! Tsk. Tsk.

While Emily and her three children eventually decided to just let their head of the family go and find happiness with his new ‘wife’, the two younger children are still in school and in need of his support.

This OFW dad promised to send his family Php15,000 per month, he claimed that the money comes from his second wife since he only earns SAR950 (Php13,200). His family refused to believe, however, especially because they know he actually receives a bonus from his company each time he renews his contract.

Since he did not send them any money in January and February, the couple’s children Juliena and Junnas Dulay went to Raffy Tulfo for help. They had already told him about it the previous months but he stopped them, promising to send them money every month. When he failed for 2 consecutive months, they finally went.

Tulfo told him he could get deported if he won’t cooperate, but he told his first family he couldn’t send them support if he loses his job. So, they eventually agreed not to have him deported as long as he sends them the money every month…
