For most parents, their children will always remain as their babies no matter how old they might already be or how big they have grown. Recently, one dad went viral for the most heartwarming, tear-jerking welcome to his daughter, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who is home for a vacation from her job in Taiwan.

Just like many OFWs, Jeaprilyn has to spend at least a year away from her family due to her job. While it is easy to communicate with families back home due to technology, especially because Taiwan is in the same time zone as the Philippines, being physically apart is still something that was difficult for the OFW and her parents to cope with.

When Jeaprilyn was finally able to take her vacation, she arrived at their home in a tricycle – and was warmly greeted by her father who was so excited to see his daughter again that it seems he has forgotten she’s all grown up already!

As if she was still a small child, Jeaprilyn’s dad gave her a big hug and carried her in his arms! It was so sweet to see this dad carrying his grown-up OFW daughter inside the house as he cried tears of joy that she’s back home.

The video went viral, with many netizens commenting that they missed their dad and wished they could still experience this. Others admitted that they also cried while watching the video because they felt just how much this dad misses his daughter – even his wife could not immediately hold their daughter as he hugged her tightly while crying.

Some netizens made light of the video, though, as they joked that they need to lose weight because their dads could not carry them into the house because they are too overweight. LOL.
