A lot of Filipinos work abroad to support their families because jobs outside the Philippines do pay much more than their counterparts back home. However, a lot of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) end up losing their families after finding a new partner abroad, or a similar thing happens to their spouses in the Philippines.

Daniel Cortez, a 26-year-old jobless husband living in Las Piñas, went to Raffy Tulfo in Action to seek help so his wife could be deported. According to Daniel, the last time he talked to his wife was on June 12, but he could no longer find her.

Daniel’s wife, Zyra Siama Cortez, works as entertainer in Japan. While Daniel had a vague idea that her job involves ‘entertaining’ Japanese customers, he had no idea that it went beyond serving drinks and talking to them at the bar.

But it seems that Zyra has found a boyfriend in a Japanese guy with whom she spends a lot of time outside the bar.

In fact, Daniel was able to obtain many photos of his wife and the Japanese guy together, sometimes kissing each other at some other place that was obviously not inside a bar. There’s even one at the beach.

What Daniel wants is to have his wife deported, especially because she is causing him much shame on social media as she continues posting photos of her and the Japanese guy together. She claims he is ‘just a customer’ but the many photos prove he’s more than that now.
