A Filipina who’s only been working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for 11 months was picked as of the lucky winners of a brand-new BMW in a raffle by UAE Exchange. She’s really so lucky!
UAE Exchange is a financial service company, offering clients options for global remittance, foreign exchange, and payment solutions.
The company is currently giving away Dh 10,000 (Php 144,500) daily to lucky customers and one BMW car weekly. All customers have to do is send money to their family and friends through the company for a chance to win in the daily or weekly raffle draws.
For its third weekly draw last December 7, overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Florinza Santos was picked as the lucky winner of a brand-new BMW!
“I am very blessed and extremely happy,” the OFW said in the video released by UAE Exchange.
And Santos is very lucky, indeed! She had actually used the company’s services three times, but she was the one picked in the raffle draw!
With the BMW being very expensive to use and maintain, plus the fact that it would be more expensive to bring it to the Philippines for personal use, Santos has decided to just sell the car in the UAE.
Using the proceeds from the sale of the car, Santos plans to return to the Philippines for good. After all, BMW cars have high price tags to at least Php2 million, Santos will already have a good amount of money to stay in the Philippines.
With the money from the car, Santos plans to open a business and build her dream house in her home country. It’s a good thing she won the raffle so she could start a new life with her family.
