OFW Couple Goes Viral

Most OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) have to spend their time away from their spouses who are often left back home in the Philippines.

Yet there are some lucky OFWs who get to bring their families abroad or OFW couples working in the same place, so they can still live together even while they’re outside the country.

OFWs Jonald and Florence Simangan are lucky enough to both work and live in Saudi Arabia.

Florence shared that she has been working as a beautician for over 5 years. Her husband also works in Saudi as a family driver.

Aside from their respective jobs, the two also run various businesses, work extra jobs (such as hair and makeup modeling), and even volunteer at the Philippine embassy for Saudi Government.

Florence admitted that doing so many things can be so challenging, but it helps earn them more money to support their three kids in the Philippines.

Thanks to their hard work, the OFW couple was able to build a house for their family. But while they were happy with that, they also felt sad that they have to be away from their kids.
