Lucky OFW Constantly Receives Gifts from Employers in Kuwait
While many OFWs find difficulties with their employers in the Middle East, there are still many others who are lucky to find good ones who are not just kind but are also generous to their workers and their families.
Mary Grace Maderse Uy is one of the lucky OFWs who found these employers.

She started working for the family in September 2012 – and she hasn’t moved to a new employer since then.
Of course, she has no reason to find a new employer because this family treated her kindly and even showers her with surprise gifts.

“Sobrang bait ng mga amo ko. Lahat free ako. Tama ang pa sahod, sinusunod lahat nakasaad sa kontrata. May day off po ako monthly, tama sa petsa ang psahod. Open sila sa family ko lalo na sa mga anak ko,” she shares to KAMI.
She receives surprise gifts from her employers, but the gifts aren’t just for her because they also give to her kids.

“Nagbibigay sila ng surprise gifts sa mga anak ko kagaya ng laptop at ibang school needs. Approachable silang tao. In terms of my financial problems pag emergency mas approachable sila at handa ng tumulong lalo na sa pag aaral ng mga anak ko. Masasabi ko na npaka supportive tlaga nila,” she added.
In the 10 years that she has served this family, this lucky OFW said that she never experienced any problems because they’re always supportive of her family and her financial needs.
Thanks to her kind employers, Mary Grace was able to send her kids to school. Her eldest already graduated from college while her second is already a second-year college student.

She was also able to have a house built in a subdivision and now owns two motorcycles.
Like many OFWs, she plans to be home for good, but knows that she’ll also miss her kind employers when that day comes.
